The Milla family has been involved in winemaking for over three generations.   About 150 years ago grandfather Milla moved to Fresno, California from Switzerland to work for Andrew Mattei, his uncle and the owner of MatteVista Winery.  

Even though he worked long hours at the winery he still found time to farm and keep up with the family history of wine making at home.  He taught his son traditional Italian wine making and he in turn taught Joey Milla, the current winemaker and owner.

2006 Milla Vineyards Ruby Cabernet 

Ruby  Cabernet is a red grape variety that is a cross between Cabernet Sauvignon and Carignan

2007 Milla Vineyards Syrah ILLA VINEYARDS SYRAH

This Syrah is 100% fermented and aged in stainless steel and not subjected to wood.

2008 Milla Vineyards Sunset

Maroo varietal is originally from Australia, it is a member of the Carolina black rose cross family.   It is registered in the United States as the Black Rose.
